The Connection refers to a frequently observed pattern followed by the psychic abilities of many mammals on Earth. The abilities afforded to those joined by The Connection differ between species and even between different communities within the same species, but by definition The Connection constitutes at least telepathic communication and the erosion of our human concept of the self. While incredibly rare, The Connection between members of different species has been recorded at different points throughout history.
