Toronto Garfield Task Force

If you spend much time at all in Toronto's Don Valley, you will no doubt encounter depictions of the one and only Garfield. They come in many shapes and sizes, from large murals in hard-to-reach places to simple paste-ups. New Garfields appear rapidly. In fact, whoever is behind them works so quickly that the only logical conclusion is that there exists a coordinated effort to paint the town orange. From this point onward, this shadow organization will be dubbed the "Toronto Garfield Task Force" (TGTF).

Reputation

Several publications and blogs have put out pieces covering Toronto's graffiti scene which make note of Garfield, ([1], [2]) but fail to recognize the magnitude of the operation (see Leaside Garfield). It appears that while many have seen their work, coordination as well as the scale at which the TGTF operates eludes the general public.
