Debian

Debian is an operating system that's pretty nice. Its defining features are dpkg and systemd, both of which are nice for server administration. Generally a good choice because it's nice and stable and has lots of packages + documentation. Reviled by nerds because they are obsessed with having the latest version of everything. When will they learn? Probably never, but that's their problem.
